Mrs. Landrum

I am very happy to begin another year at Burke Elementary. I am an ESOL teacher. ESOL stands for English for Speakers Of Other Languages. I came to the district in February 2003. Before coming to the district I lived in Manhattan and attended KSU. No I am not a Wildcat Fan but it is where my husband's job was. I am a Jayhawk fan. I have taught Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten in Chanute, KS and for the Catholic Diocese in Kansas City. It is my plans to continue with my education and begin working on a second Master's with a Master of Science in Administration.

I am the Yearbook Advisor for the Burke Yearbook.

I have three children ages 21, 19 and 7. I also have a grandson that is 17 mos. old. I have a daughter in college right now on scholarships. She is a graduate of Hickman Mills High.

 When I am not running all over the country with my youngest in competitive dance and completing service projects for Girl Scouts, I knit and read for pleasure.
