Hello My Name Is...

Michelle Blakley

My name is Michelle Blakley and this is my nineth year teaching.  I have taught third, fourth, ESL, and second.  This is my second year here at Burke.  Before coming to teach at Burke, I taught two years in Kansas City, Kansas.  I also taught five years in Saint Joseph, Missouri.  I am very excited to continue my teaching at Burke and all the wonderful times we will have in the second grade.  

I was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri. I have lived in Kansas City for two years.

 I graduated from William Jewell College with a degree in Elementary Education. In 2006, I graduated from Baker University with my Masters in Education.  

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and traveling.
