Hello My Name Is...
Mrs. Bravo
I attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha where I received a BS in Elementary and Special Education. I was an assistant to the Reading Specialist in Omaha before my husband and I moved to the KC area in 1985 when he went to work for Black & Veatch. I taught at St. Peter's for four years in first and second grade. I conducted computer skills classes at Notre Dame de Sion for three years during the summer. I then stayed home for nine years with my two boys. I was in Raytown for two years teaching first and fifth grade, earned a Master of Arts in Education at Baker Univerity, and taught one year in an EMH classroom in Lee's Summit. After that, I substituted and did homebound education until I went to work at Brookside Charter School. I was a resource teacher, PE teacher, art teacher, Library Media Specialist, and technology coordinator. I was there for six years. I completed my Master of Arts in Library Science in May 2009 through MU.
