On Oct. 1st, Mrs. CJ was surprised by the Office Max team. You can tell by the look on her face that she was wondering what was going on.  A "Day Made Better" is a program that Office Max does to bring national attention to the personal money that teachers spend on their students and classrooms. CJ received a fancy office chair, new digital camera, labeler, and many other items valued at more than $1,100!! Congratulations to her and the great things she does for her class, and her constant vision of Burke working as a whole, not just room by room! She was nominated for the award by Mr. Klapmeyer for her dedication to all the students of C.A. Burke Elementary.  The students were rather anxious to see what the big box contained.  They really liked the markers.
